About Lo-Fi Cooking
Lo-Fi Cooking is about coming into the kitchen to wind down, tune out stress and turn on a different part of your brain. Some of these recipes are easy and quick, others take longer and are more complicated, but none of them are nerve-wracking. This is about taking a break and working with your hands and, when you’re done, you’ve got something to eat or give to someone you care about.
This blog is run by Sarah Mimms. I’m a journalist living in Washington, D.C., who loves to cook. This is a curated list of what I’ve tried and what works for me, focused on the process and creativity of cooking, as well as the final dish.
Comments on all posts are open, but please note: Lo-Fi Cooking is not a place for rudeness or for diet culture. Thank you!
