Introducing... Lo-Fi Cooking
Low-Fi Cooking is all about diving into the kitchen to chill out and reset your brain. I’m Sarah, I’m a journalist who loves to cook and I’ll be sending weekly recipe recommendations. Some are easy and quick, others take longer and are more complicated, but none of them are nerve-wracking. This is about taking a break and working with your hands and, when you’re done, you’ve got something to eat or give to someone you care about.
Each newsletter also includes what I’ve been listening to while cooking this week, including some lo-fi beats (of course), as well as other music and podcasts.
A few notes on what we do here:
Here at Low-Fi Cooking, we hate scrolling. I’ll try to keep the chitchat before a recipe to a minimum and I’m tweaking the traditional recipe format as well. In addition to having amounts in the ingredients list, I’ll include them in the step-by-step directions so you don’t have to keep scrolling back and forth. (I wish everyone did this!)
You’ll get recipes about every week and the occasional recommendations newsletter on kitchen tools and other tricks to make cooking easier and more enjoyable.
This is a totally free newsletter, tell your friends!
I would truly love to hear your thoughts and recommendations, so comments are open on all of my posts. But a note: Lo-Fi Cooking is not a place for rudeness or diet culture. Thank you!
